Entwined
Moving right along and soon to be an 8' wide x 10' long rug, Entwined is up to the 66" mark, half way! This loom weaves up to 11' wide so it doesn't look that large in the photo, but believe me, it is! This rug is being woven with all natural sheeps colors like Destiny, and Pony, which is shown below. I'm working on Entwined between finishing up rugs for my Origins show. Should be done sometime this summer. Keep watch for progress and the final piece!

Pony
The last piece I'm finishing up for my Origins show. It will be 30" wide x 48" long. Working with natural sheeps colors, black, two shades of grey and white, this will be a representation of a paint pony and will be photographed on the paint horse that inspired it!

Edo 42
Keeping it simple with some stripes. These colors are based on kimono patterns from the Edo period of Japan. My friend, Toyoko, who lives in Kyoto, gave me a beautiful book of Edo period kimono samples and it is a wonderful inspiration for mixing colors!
